Yes, I know I said we weren't going to turn this into a baby blog, but this is an experiment.
I converted a series of 27 jpegs into an animated gif using the GIMP, which I've just started using for photo editing and graphics. It was a time-consuming, but fun, project. However, flickr converts the image to a non-animated jpeg, so there's no point loading it there. I'm hoping it displays correctly here.
Aparently it works. Our little bambina is two weeks old today. The pictures that comprise this animated gif were taken this morning.
awwww...too precious! Share anytime, I love seeing the housebabies as much as the houses :)

Wow, that's pretty neat. I've been meaning to check out Gimp, I hear it's pretty powerful but a bit hard to use.
Anyway, congrats. A real cutie!!

Hey, it does work on Flickr, but only if you view it in All Sizes! I just uploaded a dorky interlaced gif of myself.
